Governor Appoints Student Regents

AUSTIN – Governor Greg Abbott has appointed 10 student regents to their respective universities for terms set to expire on May 31, 2019. Appointed to the University of Houston System was Andrew Teoh of Tyler. He is pursuing a Bachelor of Business Administration in accounting and finance from the University of Houston.
Appointed from Stephen F. Austin State University in Nacogdoches was Kate Childress of Lumberton. She is pursuing a Master of Arts in student affairs and higher education She received a Bachelor of Science in psychology from SFA
