Gas Leak Closes Part of Alpine Road

LONGVIEW – Alpine Road in Longview, which was partially closed to traffic due to a gas leak, has been reopened. The Longview Police Department reports traffic was blocked off from Marshall Avenue to Tryon Road with no traffic allowed in the area. Local businesses were even evacuated. The leak has been repaired and the road is open once again.
