Butterfly Release Remembers Children Who Have DiedTYLER — The 15th Annual Live Butterfly Release was held Saturday at The Children’s Park in Tyler. According to our news partner KETK, The Compassionate Friends, Inc., organizes it every year to help support families that have experienced the death of a child. Heather Ogg, a member of the Sterling Committee, says she lost her son at 16, “and I immediately reached out to this group. It has impacted me immensely.” TCF is a national nonprofit self-help organization that is dedicated to assisting families toward the positive resolution of their grief.
