TxDOT’s Weekly Roadwork Update

TYLER – Here’s a look at work planned in TxDOT’s Tyler District during the Week of May 7. In Gregg County, motorists can expect significant delays on SH 149 at the Sabine River Bridge. The project necessitates reducing traffic over the bridge to one lane in each direction for 40 days as work is conducted during the day and at night. In Smith County, there will be a lane closure on FM 849 in Lindale for work on the Toll 49 project from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. May 7-18. Crews will be working at the tie-in to complete the relocation of FM 849 on the new alignment.
