Help Sought Catching Copper Thief

HENDERSON – Rusk County Crime Stoppers and the Rusk County Sheriff’s Office need help identifying a man who stole copper wire from Crims Chapel Water Supply on County Road 238. On January 11, deputies say he broke into the water supply by climbing a fence around the building. That’s when he is said to have picked up some copper wire lying on the ground, threw it over the fence, and climbed back over before leaving. The copper wire was worth about $500. Rusk County Crime Stoppers is offering a reward of up to $1000 for any information leading to an arrest in this case.
