A Degree for Jamie Foxx

HAWKINS – A Hollywood actor is scheduled to receive a degree from an East Texas College. Jarvis Christian College in Hawkins will award an honorary doctorate degree to Terrell, Texas native Jamie Foxx. The degree is for his achievements in music, film and television. According to the School Facebook page, Foxx will be awarded the degree during the 2018 Spring Commencement activities May 5.
