City Votes No to Rose City Complex Renovations

TYLER — The Tyler City Council has voted no to renovations at the Rose City Complex. According to our news partner KETK, the upgrades would have included a conference center and hotel, which officials have discussed for years. Space and money were the two main concerns. One councilman says there is a discrepancy on how much the city is willing to spend, but the mayor reiterated a firm budget of $19 million. The number one goal is putting the convention center and hotel in the right place.
