House Fire Possibly Caused by Lightning Strike

MARSHALL — The Marshall Fire Department is investigating a Wednesday morning structure fire possibly caused by lightning. According to KETK, it was reported just after 4:00 on Forest Trail. The home was a total loss. All occupants were out of the house and no injuries were reported. Fire Marshal Reggie Cooper said, “Though the investigation is ongoing and will be detailed, preliminary reports indicate intense lightning in the area.”
