Henderson County Drug Bust

ATHENS – A search warrant leads to a drug arrest in Henderson County. The warrant was served Wednesday night at a home west of Athens on County Road 3925. Arrested was Michael Brandon Moore, 34. Sheriff Botie Hillhouse said they found in the house 211 grams of suspected methamphetamine, a scale commonly used to weigh drugs and bags used for distribution. They also found a large amount of money. Moore is in the Henderson County Jail on a charge of manufacturing and delivery of a controlled substance. His bond was set at $50,000.
