Fatal Tyler Accident

TYLER – A two vehicle collision near the intersection of West Grande and Shady Oaks Drive has killed a Tyler man. Dead at the scene was Rodney Dean Kolac, 69. The accident happened shortly before 10:30 Sunday morning. Investigators say Kolac’s car was traveling east went it went out control in a S-curve. It then ended up in the west bound lane where it hit a pickup. The pickup’s driver was taken to a Tyler hospital for treatment of with non-life threatening injuries. The accident remains under investigation.
