Southwestern Smith County Criminal Enforcement Operation

TYLER – A joint law enforcement operation has resulted in arrests in southern Smith County. It was conducted Wednesday by units from the Smith County Sheriff’s Department along with Department of Public Safety, game wardens, precinct 5 constable’s office, Smith County Fire Marshal’s office and Arp Police Department K9. Also, the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office deployed deputies to the north end of Cherokee County to assist with the operation. It is being reported that 12 arrests were made, 5 citations issued, and 25 warnings citations were issued. One firearm with a silencer was recovered. Also recovered were 2 stolen vehicles and several drugs, including marijuana, heroin, methamphetamine, and other controlled substances.

Rachel Nicole Meador, 32, Chandler
Joshua Scott Robillard, 35, Yantis
Raychelle Lynn Silva, 31, Tyler
Austyn Taylor Uecker, 29, Chandler
Lee Marshall Johnson, 44, Tyler
According to a news released from the Smith County Sheriff’s Department, the target location for the operation was south of Loop 323 from SH 155, east to US 69. The following main roadways were involved in this operation: US 69, FM 2493, CR 1125, Loop 49, CR 1113, FM 2868, FM 346, FM 344, CR 168, and CR 178.
