Christmas Tree Recycling Starts Dec. 26 in Tyler

TYLER — The city of Tyler will soon begin Christmas tree recycling, offered each year by the city’s Solid Waste Department and Keep Tyler Beautiful. Residents can drop off their undecorated, non-flocked natural Christmas trees starting the day after Christmas and continuing through Sunday, Jan. 21, in designated areas at Golden Road Park and Fun Forest Park. All lights, ornaments, garland, and tinsel should be removed from the Christmas tree before dropping it off near the sign that says “Christmas Tree Recycling.” Go to http://www.cityoftyler.org/News.aspx for more information.
