Carlisle School Officials Probe Student Seizures

PRICE — East Texas high school administrators say they’re doing everything they can to find out why several girls have started having regular seizures on campus. KETK reports Carlisle ISD Superintendent Mike Payne is perplexed. Five of his high school students began having seizures about a month ago, and now the episodes are happening more and more frequently. Two traits connect them all: the students are girls and are involved in high school athletics. The seizures have happened in the classroom, at pep rallies, and even during a basketball game.
