Gregg County Scam Alert

LONGVIEW – The Gregg County Sheriff’s office is alerting area residents to an email scam. According to the email it is from D H L Express. It says, “the address we have on our record is incorrect and this has hindered the delivery of your pack.” It then list a label number. It then says to view the document and revert as soon as possible.” It also notes that parcels that are undelivered within one week will be returned to the sender. The sheriff’s department says not to click on the link. If you want to check the validity of an email from DHL call them directly at 1-800-225-5345.
