Fulton Guilty in Young Woman’s Death

TYLER – A Tyler jury has found a San Antonio man guilty of criminal negligent homicide. James Arthur Fulton, 42, was found guilty Thursday in connection with the death of Hailey Beasley, 20, of Tyler. She was killed in May of last year when Fulton’s pickup, which was headed in the wrong direction on West Grande Boulevard, hit Beasley’s car head-on. Police said Fulton admitted to drinking, but it was determined he was not intoxicated following multiple field sobriety tests. A voluntary blood draw was not taken. Beasley was pronounced dead at the scene. It’s now up to the jury to decide Fulton’s punishment.
