Woman Arrested in Henderson County on Multiple Charges

ATHENS — A 28-year-old-woman faces multiple charges after being arrested Friday morning in the Bonita Point subdivision, just east of Gun Barrel City. According to Henderson County Sheriff Botie Hillhouse, it all began with a call regarding a suspicious vehicle. Hillhouse says responding officers found Eardley inside the vehicle at an abandoned residence. Eardley was found to have outstanding arrest warrants out of Kaufman County for possession of a controlled substance, speeding, and violating a promise to appear in court. While Eardley was being arrested for the warrants, Hillhouse says she was found to be in possession of methamphetamine and marijuana. Eardley remained at the Henderson County Jail on $21,000 bond for the warrants, along with charges of possession of a controlled substance and possession of marijuana.
