Fatal Kilgore Accident

KILGORE – One person has been killed and one injured in a one vehicle accident in Kilgore. Dead on arrival at a Tyler hospital was Catherine Michelle McCarty, 19, of Kilgore. Injured was the car’s driver, Zachary Paul Vick, 20, of Kilgore. The accident happened just before 4:00 Sunday morning on Farm Road 349. The vehicle is said to have left the road and rolled and hit a concrete culvert. The vehicle then flipped and rolled again. Evidence gathered at the scene indicated alcohol may have been involved in the crash. The wreck remains under investigation.
