Arrests Made in Shooting Case

TYLER — Smith County Sheriff Larry Smith says three suspects have been arrested in a September 17 shooting near the Eagle Creek Mobile Home Park off State Highway 271 North. Deputies responding to a 911 call found the victim in a wooded area. It was determined he had suffered a life-threatening gunshot wound during an alleged robbery. The suspects were identified the following day. Tarrance Reggie, 19, was arrested September 19. Joel Camacho, 23, was captured September 28; Carlos Ochoa, 17, was brought in September 29. All three were jailed on charges of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
