Marshall Confirms New Police Chief

MARSHALL – The Marshall City Commission voted to confirm City Manager Lisa Agnor’s appointment of Cliff Carruth as Marshall’s new police chief at the Thursday commission meeting. He replaces Ron Davis, who was hired in May as Interim Police Chief. He will begin his new role at the end of October. Curruth has a total of 26 years of experience in law enforcement, six of those years were as a police officer with the Longview Police Department. He will be retiring from the Federal Bureau of Investigation where he most recently was the Senior Supervisory Resident Agent at the Little Rock Division of the FBI.
