Investigation of Gun at School Continues

LONGVIEW — Longview police and Longview ISD continue to conduct an investigation into a gun found at Foster Middle School. KETK reports the loaded gun was found Tuesday by a staff member in a bathroom. That same afternoon parents were notified of the incident through a mass recorded call. Parents are now planning a meeting with the school’s principal to discuss security. This incident is the second known gun-related incident at the campus this calendar year.
