The Discovery Science Place Temporarily Closing

TYLER – It is time for the annual fall spruce up at Tyler’s Discovery Science Center. The children’s museum will close starting Monday for complete renovations and updates.The scheduled closing occurs each fall for updating exhibits and facilities and conducting deep cleaning and other maintenance tasks. It will reopen on Wednesday, September 27th.
According to a news release from the center, while they are closed, Christus Trinity Mother Frances will update their nursery exhibit, and the robotic arm exhibit with new displays and interactive components. Southside Bank will refresh their exhibit space, and CBS 19 plans to complete some updates as well. Other work to be completed includes electrical updates, parking lot striping, signage and repairs to existing exhibits.
