Tyler Still Offering Services to Hurricane Harvey EvacueesTYLER – Though the Transition Hub is no longer active in Tyler, many online resources are available to Hurricane Harvey evacuees, including FEMA assistance. You can go to https://www.disasterassistance.gov/ to learn more about that. The city published a web page that centralizes information about available services for evacuees. City officials say the page — https://www.cityoftyler.org/Departments/Communications/HurricaneHarveyReliefInformation.aspx — will continue to be updated with relevant information for evacuees still in the area.

The City of Tyler Transit Department is still offering free bus rides to all evacuees with Emergency Tracking Network (ETN) wristbands. The Transition Hub for Hurricane Harvey evacuees, at Tyler’s Faulkner Park Police Substation, ceased operations at 6:00 Thursday night and returned to normal operations. At last report, 713 people had come through the substation for FEMA assistance.
