Angel Tree Applications are Being Accepted

TYLER – The Salvation Army in Tyler is accepting applications for the annual Angel Tree program. The Angel Tree provides Christmas assistance to families in need by making sure that no child is forgotten. Friday is the final day to sign up for assistance. They are able to accept the first 100 qualified applicants starting at 9:00am at on North Spring Street behind the Salvation Army Center of Hope on North Broadway. Since there are a limited number of spots on the Angel Tree, they accept those who are most in need of help.
What to bring:
•Valid Texas Photo ID
•Social Security Cards for Parent/Guardian and children applying for
•Proof of Residence: 1 of the following items
·Current Lease/Utility bill from July or August 2017
·Government Mail from July or August 2017
•Proof of Need: HUD Lease; Medicaid Eligibility Letter, Income
Statements
•Birth Certificates for children applying
•Official Custody documents if applicant is not the biological parent
•Children’s clothing and shoe size and gift wish
