Funeral Services for Three Boy Scouts

EAST TEXAS — The first of three funeral services for the East Texas Boy Scouts killed in a boating accident at Lake O’ the Pines was held Thursday morning. Will Brannon, 17, of Hallsville, was remembered at the First Baptist Church in Hallsville. The boys were sailing in a catamaran Saturday when their 30-foot metal mast hit a power line. The contact caused them to be electrocuted.
Funeral arrangements for Heath Faucheux, 16, have also been made. Visitation will be held Friday at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Longview, 2108 Ridgewood Drive from 5:30 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. His funeral will be held at St. Mary’s Catholic Church Saturday at 10 a.m.
Thomas Larry, 11, will be laid to rest on Saturday, according to a family spokesperson. Visitation & Rosary is scheduled for 7 p.m.- 9 p.m. Saturday at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Longview, 2108 Ridgewood Drive. The funeral will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday at St. Mary’s.
