East Texas State Fair Musical Lineup Announced

TYLER – Work is well underway for the annual East Texas State Fair. It will be held on the fairgrounds off East Front Street in Tyler September 22nd through October 1st. There will be the exhibits, carnival, and of course, the fair food. This year’s fair will a lot of live music, more than in past years. This year they will introduce Countryfest; a music festival type event featuring ten Texas Country artists over two Saturdays. All concerts are free with regular fair admission.
Here is the musical line up for the East Texas Fair, which has just been announced.
The lineup is as follows:
Jamie Richards, Friday 9/22
Countryfest featuring Kevin Fowler with special guests Chris Colston, Gary Kyle, Jeremy McComb and Rick Huckaby on Saturday 9/23
La Invasora Conjunto Fest on Sunday 9/24 & Sunday 10/1
The Tuxedo Cats on Monday 9/25
Radio Birds on Tuesday 9/26
The Night Owls on Wednesday 9/27
Mike and the Moonpies on Thursday 9/28 (College Night)
Rick Trevino on Friday 9/29
Countryfest featuring William Clark Green, with special guests Kylie Rae Harris, Drew Womack, Dalton Domino and Ray Johnston Band on Saturday 9/30
Also, the Fair is adding a second stage dubbed the “Community Stage” where local artists can showcase their talents. This stage will also be home to Matt’s Family Jam who will entertain crowds with three performances daily.
