One Arrested, Two Sought in Overnight Assault

TYLER — Tyler police seek two suspects in a predawn Saturday assault at Fun Forest Park involving gunfire and a smashed car window. One victim refused treatment for minor injuries from broken glass. The victims said they were able to drive off before spotting and following a Cadillac in which the perpetrators had apparently been riding. The Cadillac, by then occupied by a lone driver, ended up at a traffic stop at Dobbs and Vine. The driver, Rudy Xzavier Williams, told police he was being followed — but the victims soon pulled up and told their story, and Williams was arrested.
