Severe Weather Response Plan Meeting

TYLER – A meeting in Tyler Wednesday brought together The Tyler Fire Department and the Northeast Texas Public Health District and representatives of a variety of public service agencies. The meeting was over the release of this year’s Severe Weather Response Plan. The plan is designed to serve as a guide and to provide useful information to the public. It includes tips on preparing for possible severe weather, as well as recognizing the conditions that are often associated with tornadic activity. It also highlights resources that are available to the public during the season, including shelter locations.
