Upshur County Youngster’s Death May be a Homicide

GILMER – The death of an 11 month old in Upshur County boy may be a homicide. The preliminary autopsy, which was performed by a Dallas lab, reported the youngster died from “blunt force injury to the head.” Upshur County Sheriff Larry Webb said Friday they are still waiting for the final autopsy report before making a final determination. As KTBB previously reported, police were called to a location on Farm Road 2088 March 2nd after receiving a 911 call in reference to an injured child. The child was transported to ETMC-Pittsburg but later was pronounced dead.
