Work Starts on a Section of Highway 64

TYLER – The Texas Department of Transportation says there will be work on State Highway 64 in Tyler for the next couple of weeks. The work will impact traffic flow. The contractor is scheduled to work for about four days from east Loop 323 in the inside westbound lane to the U.S. Highway 271 intersection. Work will then move to between State Highway 155 and U.S. Highway 271 for another six days. Motorists are advised to use alternate routes to avoid the daily lane closures and delays on Highway 64.
