Cherokee County Man’s Conviction Upheld

TYLER — A Cherokee County man’s conviction for continuous sexual abuse is affirmed by a state appeals court. Bobby Eugene Coker pleaded guilty in 2009. He was sentenced to 35 years in prison. The 12th Court of Appeals found Coker failed to show the statute used to convict him was unconstitutional.
