Portion of High Street Underpass Closed

LONGVIEW — The High Street underpass will have the right lane closed to traffic from Tyler Street to Cotton Street beginning Tuesday February 28. Initially, the northbound outside lane will be closed. Once work is completed, the southbound outside lane will be closed. The purpose of the project is to install a brick veneer and replace the sidewalk, curb and gutter.

Drivers wishing to travel between Cotton and Tyler Street may use alternate routes along Horaney Street / S. Court Street or Green Street. Two-way traffic will be maintained along High Street in both directions from Tyler Street to Cotton Street. Please use caution if traveling this route due to heavy construction in the outside lanes.
