Smith County Commissioner Appointed to Education Committee

TYLER – Smith County Commissioner JoAnn Hampton has been appointed to serve on the Education Committee of the County Judges and Commissioners Association of Texas. Commissioner Hampton will represent the North and East Texas Region on the seven-member board. The committee approves the continuing education hours required each year by County Judges and Commissioners serving in the state. Commissioner Hampton took office as County Commissioner for Precinct 4 on January 1, 2003, and serves the county’s northwest district.
