Couple Sought on Child Sex, Tampering Charges

TYLER — Smith County Sheriff Larry Smith says a former law enforcement officer and his wife are on the run as they face charges of aggravated sexual assault of a child and tampering with physical evidence. 41-year-old Angela Elaine Crocker is believed to be traveling with Johnny Crocker, who Smith says should be considered armed and dangerous. According to Smith, statements have been made by the Crockers that they “will not be taken alive.” He says Angela Crocker is known to drive a gold 2010 Subaru Outback.
