Gladewater’s ISD Superintendent Making a MoveTATUM – The Gladewater school superintendent will be returning to a school district where he previously worked. On Wednesday, The Tatum school board named Dr. J.P. Richardson as the lone finalist for their superintendent’s post. They have scheduled a March 2nd meeting to make it official. Richardson has been the Gladewater school superintendent since 2008. He succeeded Dee Hartt who retired. Richardson worked in the Tatum school system before coming to Gladewater. He was a school principal and later the district’s director of human resources and community relations.
