Counterfeit Money Leads to a Longview ArrestLONGVIEW – A man accused of passing counterfeit bills has been arrested in Longview. The suspect, Kevin Madden of Longview, 45, was first said to have come into a store on South High Street and made a small purchase with a counterfeit $100 bill. A short time later, he is said to have attempted to pass another $100 bill at a store on Alpine Road. That is where police arrested him. He was booked into the Gregg County Jail, and later released under a $10,000 bond.

Longview Police encourage citizens and businesses to pay close attention to any form of payment received. In this case the bills, even though they resembled authentic U.S. currency, were marked “For Motion Picture Use Only”
