Murder Trial Underway in Marshall

MARSHALL – Testimony has started in state district court in Marshall in the murder trial of a Longview woman accused of killing her husband in 2014. The jury was seated in the case on Monday. Alexis Elaina Walker, 32, is accused in the 2014 killing. The shooting occurred at the couple’s home on the Harrison County side of Longview. She is said to have shot her husband, Anthony Updyke, 33, after a night of drinking and arguing.
