Body Found in Longview

LONGVIEW – Longview police are investigating the death of a man whose body was found Sunday morning. It started with a call shortly before 7:00 about a shooting in the vicinity of Twelfth and Dean Streets. Officers were told that someone had been shot at that location and then the body had been dumped near the railroad tracks off West Loop 281. There, they found the body of a black male. Investigators have been interviewing witnesses as the investigation continues.
