Jury Selection to Begin In Longview Woman’s Murder Trial

MARSHALL – A Longview woman accused of killing her husband in 2014 is scheduled to go on trial Monday in Marshall. Jury selection will begin in the trial of Alexis Elaina Walker, 32, who is accused of the killing in November, 2014. The shooting occurred at the couple’s home on the Harrison County side of Longview. She is said to have shot her husband, Anthony Updyke, 33, after a night of drinking and arguing.
