Murderer Sentenced to Life

GILMER — A Honduran national is sentenced to life without parole Monday. Miguel Espinal-Gomez, 26, pleaded guilty to stabbing a Gilmer couple to death on New Year’s Day. He admitted to killing the victim and his paraplegic wife. Gomez claims the man inappropriately touched his wife.
