Anderson County Teen’s Death Investigated

PALESTINE – The death of an Anderson County teen will be taken to the grand jury for review. What appears to be an accidental shooting occurred around 8:45 last Friday night. It happened off County Road 350 in the Neches area. The 19 year old was shot in the head. He was first taken to a Palestine hospital, and then transferred to a Tyler hospital where he died. His name has not been released.
