The Probe of a Longview Teen’s Death Continues

LONGVIEW – The death of a Longview teen is being investigated as a homicide. The body of 18 year old Daxtan Dewayne Rashaad Castleberry was found shortly after 11:00 Saturday night. Police were responding to a welfare call when they found his body in a home on Plainview Street near the Fairway Drive intersection. Investigators say it appears as if he died from a gunshot wound. An autopsy was ordered. The death would be Longview’s 14th homicide of the year, the same number recorded last year.
