One Dead in Kilgore Crash

KILGORE — One person is dead, two others injured following a two-vehicle crash just before 1 a.m. Sunday on State Highway 31 West near the Gray Street intersection in KIlgore. Police say a Cadillac driven by Chaise McNeal, 26, was hit head-on by a GMC 1-ton pickup towing a livestock trailer, driven by Leonardo Rivera, 33. McNeal died at the scene. Rivera and his passenger, Andreas Gomez, 33, were taken to the hospital and treated for what are termed non-life-threatening injuries.
