Emergency Landing at the Tyler Airport

TYLER – A pilot had to make a belly landing at Tyler Pounds Regional Airport after his landing grear failed to fully extend. The City of Tyler told KETK the pilot was flying a King Air private plane. After flying around to burn off fuel, he successfully landed Friday afternoon as emergency crews looked on. No injuries were reported.
