Man Indicted in Longview Murder

LONGVIEW – The Gregg County Grand Jury has indicted a Longview man in a murder in late August. According to the Longview News Journal, GeKainnon Ikemoin-Kenyon Harris, 20, was indicted in the August 30th death of Alexis Bell, 26. She was found shot to death in an apartment on Lake Lamond Drive. Originally, Harris was arrested at the scene on two unrelated assault family violence warrants. He was later charged with manslaughter in Bell’s death. He remains in the Gregg County Jail under bonds totaling $270,000
