Man Posts Bond in Woman’s Death

TYLER – A former Tyler man, who now lives in Comal County, posted bond Thursday at the Smith County Jail in the death of a Tyler woman. James Arthur Fulton, 41, was released from jail after posting a $15,000 bond. He is charged with criminal negligent homicide in the death of Hailey Beasely,21, back in May. Fulton’s pickup was headed in the wrong direction when it collided with Beasley’s car on West Grande Boulevard. Fulton admitted having two beers at a restaurant prior to the accident. But investigators say he was not drunk and passed several field sobriety tests at the scene.
