Man Accused of Attacking Longview Nurse

LONGVIEW – Police have arrested a man accused of assaulting a nurse at Longview’s Good Sepherd Medical Center. Booked into the Gregg County jail with a $5,000 bond was Laterrance Alexander, 46, of Houston. According to the Longview News Journal, a nurse told officers Alexander, Tuesday afternoon, lunged at him across a hospital bed while the nurse was trying to administer shots. The nurse said the action injured his shoulder. Hospital security restrained Alexander until police arrived.
