Two Busted in Tyler for Drugs

TYLER – Tyler police didn’t get two robbery suspects, but they did nab a couple for drug possession. Police were checking on the two in P.T. Cole Park on Vine Street Tuesday afternoon as possible suspects in a Tyler robbery Monday night. During the investigation, the two were found to be in possession of 127 Ecstasy pills, 56 Xanax bars, and a large plastic bag of Marijuana. Donovan Deshon Jackson, 22, (pictured) was charged with possession of a controlled substance in a drug free zone and possession of marijuana in a drug free zone. Terrance Sims, 24, was charged with manufacture/delivery of a controlled substance, manufacture/delivery of a controlled substance in a drug free zone and possession of marijuana in a drug free zone. The two Tyler men were booked into the Smith County Jail.
