Recycling Push in Tyler

TYLER – Today is Tyler Recycles Day. The city’s recycling center on North Bois D’Arc will have special activities from 8:00 till noon. You will be able to bring by everything from household appliances to newspapers and phonebooks. They will even be taking vehicle batteries old motor oil and anti-freeze. As part of today’s activities, Ark-La-Tex Shredding will offer free personal document shredding for individuals and businesses. Residents will also be able to sign up for the city’s curbside recycling program. And as part of the activities, complimentary giveaways will be available to residents who participate and will be on a first come, first serve basis.
