Longview Man Charged in Double HomicideLONGVIEW – A Longview man is being held on a $2 million bond on a charge of capital murder. Christopher Marvin Bell II, 21, was booked into the Gregg County Jail shortly before midnight on Wednesday. Bell is charged in the deaths of Freddie Allison, 41 and Deandra Allison, 38, both of Longview. Their bodies were found shortly before 6:45 Wednesday evening at the Huntington Hills Apartments on North Eastman Road. The deaths bring the homicide death count in Longview this year to 13.

Investigators say Bell went to the couple’s apartment to see his daughter. The suspect then said he was not allowed inside, so he went to the back of the apartment. He jumped over the balcony, broke the glass patio door and began to fight with the victim’s. He then took out a handgun and shot the couple. He then fled and called police to turn himself in. He was arrested in a parking lot of a store on Estes Parkway.
