Fatal Nacogdoches County Crash

GARRISON – A two vehicle accident in Nacogdoches County has killed one person. Dead at the scene was Richard Roberts, 49, of Nacogdoches. His car was hit head on by a truck driven by Bronson Devan Holmes, 41, of Garrison. Holmes, who refused treatment, has been charged with intoxication manslaughter. The Department of Public Safety reports the accident happened shortly before 6:45 Friday night on U.S. Highway 59, southwest of Garrison.
